We have carpet!

We finally got carpet in our basement yesterday and I love it. We basically bought the most indestructable carpet on the market making it very hard for them to install. The guys who installed it were pretty grumpy by the time they left. Alex went to the store and bought some cabinets to put beside the fireplace for storage and then he went and picked up our couches from my Mom's garage that she lovingly stored for almost a year. We brought them downstairs and discovered they will not fit in the room at all so we went couch shopping last night and found some that will work much better. And we got them for a steal of a deal, so if anyone is looking to buy some couches I have some. Alex spent the night cutting out cardboard in the different sizes of TVs to see which one he wants. It was quite funny. Cache's favorite thing to do is hide in the cabinets that Alex put together, I'm not sure why he isn't wearing a shirt in these pictures but later in the day he wasn't wearing pants either so consider yourselves lucky! This other picture shows the lino we put in the storage and laundry rooms. Anyways now we really need to hurry with the doors etc. because the kids are really itching to get down there and play but poor Alex needs a rest for awhile so I sent him to work at the firehall today.
